When our Sparta Lions Club gets together, problems get smaller and our community get better.
Lions Clubs International began in 1917 as the dream of an enthusiastic Chicago businessman who believed that people should work toward the betterment of their communities. Lions Clubs International is now the world’s largest service club organization with 1.3 million members in 45,000 clubs in 202 countries and geographic areas.
Lions are men and women who volunteer their time to humanitarian causes - Our motto is “We Serve.”

Our Sparta Lions Club supports vision care, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, environmental issues, and local community improvements.

Our fundraising efforts include our Sparta Lanes Bowling Fundraisers, our Famous Chicken Dinners, and our Lions Christmas Party, and through private donations. 100% of the proceeds are donated back to our community!
​
We also serve our Sparta Community with a Free Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day! ​Together, we make our Sparta community a better place for all people.
